I first heard about Eileen McKusick and her company Biofield Tuning in an underground wellness center in Los Angeles. The owner handed me a copy of her book Tuning the Human Biofield and something in me knew it mattered before I had read a single word.
A few months later, on Winter Solstice 2019, I sat down and listened to one of her group audio sessions.
I was instantly smitten.
I had never heard a woman speak with such precision and grace, candidness and brilliance at the same time. It felt like being understood in a language I didn't know I had been waiting to hear.
A full girl crush through the ether.
I did my first course with Eileen through The Shift Network and kept thinking, how does everyone in the world not know about her?
I was deep in a healing sabbatical at the time. Fifteen years helping launch and grow some of the most loved brands in natural beauty, and I had finally stopped long enough to take my own advice.
Rest and come home to yourself before you can help anyone else again.
But I couldn't stay quiet about what Eileen was building.
By the fall of 2020, after knocking on her door from the opposite coast, I came on as her business advisor. For over five years, I lived inside Biofield Tuning, breathing the big picture alongside Eileen and her extraordinary team.
At one event, she did a live session on me that completely rocked my world. Among the many things that were felt, seen, and said, she spoke about collaborations in our future. That they might involve a project of my own outside of Biofield Tuning.
I didn't think much of it then.
I think about it now.
In the summer of 2022, I was spending time in Boulder, Colorado. That same summer, Eileen was recovering from a motorcycle accident. Because of her remarkable tonal resilience, her recovery moved quickly. But I remember her sharing that one of her doctors had told her to get her hands on a grass-fed collagen marshmallow to have in her morning coffee.

Collagen paired with caffeine to support bone repair and recovery.
I couldn't believe it.
Fifteen years in health and healing and I had never heard such a thing.
Healing can actually be delicious.
As synchronicity tends to do when you're paying attention, I walked into a small hippie-dippie coffee shop that same week in Boulder and saw a single grass-fed marshmallow on the menu.
One dollar. Just like a handmade syrup.
I tried it and I was instantly sold.
I spent months researching and ordering from brands across the country. Every single one still carried chemicals or preservatives.
I even tried making them myself.
Bought all the ingredients.
Made a mess.
Not very good.
Around that same time, my fiancé Erik was receiving big downloads about creating something built in freedom, sovereignty, and food as one of the primary doorways in. He named it Feral Foods, housed under a parent company he called Feral Future.
In early 2025, I made the decision to step away from Biofield Tuning to help Erik build his legacy into something the world could actually hold.
One of the hardest and most right decisions of my life.
What I brought with me, among other things, was my love of the mallow.
Four ingredients.
Grass-fed gelatin, organic maple syrup, vanilla bean paste, and our full spectrum salt.
Beautiful in coffee, matcha, cocoa, and chai.
A daily ritual for health, beauty, and the quiet pleasure of ancestral nourishment.
Today, Feral Foods Maple Mallows are a top seller in our Feral Pantry Collection.

Healing does not have to be hard.
Sometimes it is simply a beautiful cup and something your body has always known.
What moves me most about this collaboration is how much Biofield Tuning and Feral Future share at the heart.
Ancestral nourishment.
Freedom.
Heaven on earth as a lived reality.
Healing, coherence, and resilience as a way of being.
Two different doorways into the same remembering.
What started as a doctor's suggestion during Eileen's recovery has become a product that thousands of people now reach for every morning.
This is what happens when you follow the thread.
If you're part of Eileen's world, you already understand that healing happens in layers. The Feral Maple Mallow is one delicious, grounding layer.
The future is feral
And it turns out, so was this story all along
